HAPPY MONDAY EARLY RELEASE DAY!! We have 7 books on today’s list with a few huge hits and definite blurb jolts!! And then wait until you see tomorrow’s list. HOLY MOLY. But first…
Three things:
1.) We tried a new amazing tiny “hole in the wall” Thai restaurant (well… new to me – but apparently very popular and so many LOVE it). The owner makes it a point to come out and meet you and know (and remember!) your name. She even remembered my husband’s order (which was pretty specific from his past 2 visits) and she is just the sweeeeetest person. Also I LOVED my food) Beef Pad Thai and Tom Yum soup. AND!! She loves plants and flowers and adorned her adorable cozy restaurant with all of this. If you love Thai food, and you’re near Bradenton, make sure to visit “Charm Thai“. P.S. Her name is Ying. 🙂 Oh and here is an article about her restaurant.
2.) But before we went to that restaurant (it was closed for the early afternoon until 5pm), we took a trip to the beach and walked and enjoyed the perfect weather (not too hot, not too cold, not too sunny) and scoured the beach for treasures. One of my favorite things! I found a few pieces of driftwood, and of course some pretty shells, but what I did find was moments of serenity. The beach (when it’s calm) is truly my happy place. 😌 Walking barefoot in the sand, for an hour and marveling at all the pretty things really centers me. I’m so fortunate to live near the ocean. Er… except when it’s hurricane season. 😨
3.) I’ve started the Best Books of 2024 lists and I’ve got three so far, one that’s become my entire TBR list and one that had a book on it that I one-clicked SO hard. I highlighted it (you can’t miss it). 😉 Here they are: Best Books of 2024
