HAPPY MONDAY & HAPPY NEW EARLY BOOK RELEASE DAY!!!! There are quite a few that sound right up our alley, my friends!! But first…

Three things:

1.) I had a fun excursion with a couple of my colleagues this weekend. A fun shopping trip for beauty supplies!! I love hanging out with these girls outside of work. We need to do it more often.

2.) Next up, will be a movie trip for us to go see the latest Conjuring!! Eeeeeeep! We almost went after our shopping trip but we were all too excited to get home and dye our hair! LOL!!

3.) So on my beauty supply trip I did something brand new for me: I bought myself some semi-permanent gloss (<— this exact one) AND Ion demi permanent hair dye (<— this exact one). The semi gloss I’ve had done before quite a few times at Aveda (shiny, healthy and my natural color just… refreshed & a bit brighter – and some gray coverage too!!) It lasts about 8-10 washes, and always look great. I didn’t realize I could do the same thing at home & it turned out AMAZING (and so much less expensive)!! It’s totally still my hair color but just more bright? I dunno? Extra gold? Greys are now blonde so I look like I have highlights. Naturally I’m a light golden brown-ish blonde/strawberry blonde depending on the light so this was just perfect for my natural color. The Demi, I will be doing in a month or so for the fall season and Christmas. I chose medium warm blonde (and after lots of research online for this exact product and color, it will actually come out more of a light brown-ish red which is also my color but I think it will come out even darker. Browner than my normal. More brown than blonde, and I’m excited to see me slightly brunette for the fall season!! 😉
