HAPPY MONDAY & HAPPY NOVEMBER EVERYONE!!! What has everyone done this weekend? What’s your favorite hobby (other than reading of course 😉) What’s your new favorite find? I show you mine in the three things below:
Three things:
1.) I’m marinating mushrooms!! I love my vegetable salads and I love adding marinated mushrooms to the mix. I’m in the mood for a good chopped salad as we speak, in fact. I think that’s what I’ll have tonight for supper. YUM!! What’s your favorite kind of salad? Mine used to be ONLY Cesar salad (and I make an AMAZING one even better than restaurant-style) but I’ve burned out somewhat and am experimenting with all sorts of salad combos now. LOVE IT! I swear I could totally be a vegetarian if it wasn’t for my love of… well… meat. 😒 😂
2.) My landscaping is still a disaster area since Milton, and I’m just waiting for it to cool down so I can get out there, and pull out the dead and dying stuff, and have it looking clean again. Plant some things, and trim off all of the shredded leaves that are hanging on by a thread. But… there’s another tropical storm on the way, and while I don’t think it will do damage, I’m just not in the mood to get to work out there just for it to be all undone again.
3.) So I received this amazing Laneige berry lip balm as part of a gift basket, that I’m obsessed with. I love the smell, the flavor, the texture, and my lips feel amazing in the evenings when I don’t have any on, but am realize that my lips feel supple and not cracked or raw. That’s how I know this stuff works. P.S. HOLY MOLY they have a candy cane version, so I MUST buy this. I LOVE minty lip balms. So soooooothing. But anyway, back to my story: so then, I found THIS one on Amazon that looks identical, and the reviews say it’s an amazing dupe, and while I can say that the look and texture is just about right, there is no berry smell/taste about it at all. Like no real smell. Not bad, but not much of anything… and I really love the whole shebang. So I keep the boring one at my bedside for middle of the night needs, and the pretty one in my purse for daytime. 😉
