HAPPY MONDAY!! TODAY’S EARLY BIRD NEW RELEASE LIST IS EXTRA SPECIAL because…
Three things:
1.) So…. today’s list will be a bit extra since I’m adding new releases from last Friday as well. While I was working on my list, we had a thunderstorm that knocked the electricity out and it took all night before it came back again. *sigh* So that list was extra short despite AWESOME books having gone live. So I’m adding them here. 😊 Sorry guys for that short list. Friday Finds is one of my favorites to put together so I was bummed out that it all crashed right while I was finding book goodies!
2.) Tried a new steakhouse in our area that we were really excited about after reading an article. But in the grand scheme of things, nope. The ambiance was off (80s adult contemporary was playing the entire time, and loudly at that), and the food was just okay. Nothing to write home about (though here I am… writing about it. LOL!)
3.) I just bought (and am still waiting for) this eyelash curling & tinting kit that I keep seeing on Facebook. We’ll see if it does anything to my super-blonde and very straight eyelashes. Before I was getting eyelash extensions, my only complaint for my lashes was how blonde and see through they were. They naturally curled upwards and my eyelash techs would always comment on how many lashes I had (multiple rows which I read is not as common). It’s been 2 years since I’ve stopped my lash extensions (and they were just the classic hybrid -nothing too heavy), and they really haven’t recovered to look like they used to. Not as thick and do NOT curl upwards at all. So when I put mascara on, it doesn’t wow me at all. You can’t even see them. If at least, they curl upwards the mascara might have an effect. And the tint is great for my weekends off makeup, but lashes that can still be seen somewhat. 😂 We’ll see…I’m willing to take my time and give it a try. I’ll let you know.
