2024 Booker Prize shortlist announced

The six-book shortlist for the 2024 Booker Prize, which recognizes fiction published in the English language in the U.K. and/or Ireland, has been announced. The winner of this year’s prize, which comes a £50,000 purse, will be announced on November 12 at an award ceremony held at Old Billingsgate in London.
