HAPPY MONDAY EARLY BIRD RELEASES!! Not the biggest list ever (😂) but 5 books that sound right up our alley is good enough for me!
Three things:
1.) I’m so in love with all of the beautiful “fruit water” or”jelly nails” looks that I’m seeing all over. I guess that’s the trend of the summer? Delicate, barely blushed nails and “princess” nails and I am SO here for it. I can’t really have long nails with my job and my hobbies (my hands are always in soil during my time off) but I still love to have pretty hands. And I find these delicate, glossy, barely there colors are just perfect for me! Here’s the one that I keep seeing online (and this is the color – raspberry – that interests me the most, but I’m also loving the “blueberry” color ads). Why I love it even more? It’s supposedly good for your nails too.
2.) In the meantime, took one of my clear nail polishes and added two large drops of nail polish to it (one bright fuchsia pink in this small bottled nail polish kit – and one bright salmon pink from my Illamasqua collection) and shook it all and got something pretty darn close to what that one above looks like in the ads. Sheer and shiny with a hint of color. The only thing I don’t love is my homemade version is not as (or at all) healthy for my nails like the “Manucurist” brand, but it sure is pretty. P.S. HOLY MOLY I just saw this cute “jelly nail polish kit” and I want to try it too!! These are small bottles but so fun!!)
3.) My husband and I DEVOURED “The Hunting Wives” on Netflix (P.S. This is the book that the TV series is from) this weekend. I didn’t think that would be up his alley but he was totally into it, and now I want more like that! What other series (other than Desperate Housewives) has that same feel? Ohhhh Good Girls – I never did finish that series and I was LOVING it!!!! What else?
