I Dreamt That You Loved Me: A Love Story <— ROCK STAR ROMANCE & Cristina absolutely 5-STAR LOVED THIS BOOK!!! WOW this is a world class recommendation and I couldn’t just leave it as a simple comment. It deserves its own post and so I turned it into a mini review.
To the point and so exciting and she says ALL of the things that I’m looking for in an angsty romance (and I totally get what she means, that after years of constant reading… if it gives us that old-school oomph, gut-punch & heart-feels, it MUST be amazing). She makes me want to read this book right now!!

I just finished “I Dreamt That You Loved Me” by Emery Rose. OMG…. unbelievably good!
When you’ve been reading for as long as I have, it takes a REALLY good book to give me a hearty dose of book hangover. I could not put it down, reading into the early hours of the morning, on a work night, mind you! It’s been soooooo long since I’ve done that.
This is an epic love story that takes place in the early 90s and follows this couple into the early 2000s. It had it all, rockstar romance, falling for best friend’s boyfriend, loss, self-discovery and second chances that culminated into this incredible and unforgettable love story.
It was beautifully written, beautifully paced and WOW did it crush my heart into two and weave it back together. And BOY did I feel my heart crush. It’s unlike anything that I’ve read in a very long time. I think this is a book that you would really love, so I am recommending it to you and everyone else.
Please take a chance and dive in and fall in love with Gabriel and Cleo’s love story!
