Fittingly for the news of a new Moomin movie this week, today is Finnish Literature Day. Maybe break out some Tove Jansson, Frans Eemil Sillanpää, or Väinö Linna this weekend to celebrate? Or go all the way back and read some of the Kalevala, and see if you can’t figure out how to get that Sampo working.
