I am hoping you can help me find a book that I think aligns to the following description:
Vigilante heroine whose family was murdered.
She knows the police captain of a local captain, who is unaware she has been murdering the people who killed her family or perhaps people that hurt others. He invites to the station and introduces her to a detective who he assigns to her as bodyguard or something.
They are immediately attracted to each other. He is not conventionally attractive and she does not like being touched. After the meet, cop guy is listening in on her conversations and hears her saying to her friend she wanted to jump into his lap or something.
Long story short, he loves listening in on her phone calls and they start dating and she is comfortable having him touch her.
Part of a series.
She might also be a deejay.
