Judy needs our book help! HOLY MOLY this one sounds crazy, and intense and DARK!!!!

I’ve have been trying to find a book for a while now and was hoping this community could help.
So these are some details of the book:
heroine has a son and is on the run from abusive husband. This husband of hers made her kill people so she is very skilled in combat; essentially she is an assassin (there’s a part of the plot where the reason she was so susceptible to doing what her husband ordered was because he was giving her an experimental drug that makes you obey commands).
I also remember that she was held in like a glass box.
She runs into the lap of the ML who is also a Mafia boss and he eventually finds out she had lied to him about her identity. He takes her and tortures/interrogates her for several days.
The ML friend of family member had a sister who was taken by the FL’s husband and they have been searching for her hoping that she was still alive. The FL had seen the girl once while she did her husband’s bidding. When she finally started talking about who she really was they didn’t believe her because no one had ever seen her and because her husband had always kept her away from prying eyes.
She reveals that she was taken by her husband before she was 18 to which ML said that would be going against rules the mafia has but she clarified that her husband paid extra to get her sooner.

She and her son towards the end of the book get kidnapped by husband. At the end of the book the son is older and they have kept the abusive husband alive for years in the basement and I think the son is the one who ends up killing his dad.
The female lead also talks about how she was required to give heirs and that she had gotten pregnant many times but they came out girls and they were killed. The son she has now was allowed to live but it was later found out he had some issues health wise that made the husband hate the kid because in his eyes, he wouldn’t be a strong leader to take over.
If anyone could help in finding this book it would be very much appreciated.
