I can’t remember the title 🤦🏻‍♀️

I’m trying to find an ebook I read several years, but I can’t remember the title.  I’ve tried every search engine I could find with no luck. I hope y’all can help me.

The book begins with a woman with healing abilities on the run from those who’ve kept her to use her abilities.  She’s trying to break into the hero’s vehicle and he catches her, but is then shot by her pursuers.  She heals him then flees in his vehicle.

He works for a security agency and vows to find her before they do.  He does and it’s an amazing story!

I know it’s part of a series because after reading this book I read the entire series.  I’m retired and read a book a day and it’s been years since I read it and can no longer remember the title or author.

Please, can anyone tell me this information??
