Hi, yes, I’ve been looking for this book for a while, and it’s been hard.

All I can remember:

I think the MMC is an assassin or hitman, and he has to kill the FMC. I know the MMC wears black gloves. He camps on a roof in front of the FMC’s building and watches her through his sniper. There was a scene where he started shooting at her from across the building in her living room. The thing is, she knows he is there.

There was another scene where her friends told her to take a break and go with them to a cabin. I can’t remember if it was her parents’ cabin, but she goes, and he follows. At night, she hears something while her friends sleep. She goes out the front door, and he shoots at her. She runs into the woods to an old shed.

There is another scene—I can’t remember all the details, but I think it was like a ball or party. She sees him there, and he chases her around. She blocks him with a door, but he gets in. She runs into a room to hide, and he comes after her. There is an intense, intimate scene between them.

Overall, it’s a dark romance book with a cat-and-mouse dynamic between the MMC and FMC.
