I read a book a while back and I can’t remember the name

It was military and I remember they either drove or flew into a dangerous zone in the mountains to either the taliban or cartel.

I’m not too sure and I think the woman was a nurse or a dr and she was helping the bad guys child but it was a trap and they have to escape through the mountains etc and bond whilst doing so.

Anyone have a guess?
